Hole#1 is a 392 Par 4 from the blue tees. An impressive array of bunkers lining the left side to the fairway suggests you drive to the right of center. The fairway also slopes left so anything hit close to a bunker is going to bounce toward it. The right side is pretty kind unless you really miss it and wind up in the barn! There is a nice big tower on the horizon to aim at. You can't see the green from the tee but there is no hidden trouble. From the blue tees most drives leave an approach shot of 180 yards or so. There is plenty of room to run the ball onto this tricky little green but most people would be better off hitting a 7 wood or other utility club at that distance. There isn't much trouble around the green but you can sure have trouble on it. It is two tiered and quick with lots of contour.
